By the time Emma Kiefer was 9 years old, she had spread thousands of loaves of bread through her family's grassroots bread-giving initiative.  Being an animal lover, she wondered why animals weren't benefitting from the work of Spread the Bread?  It was then she launched Spread the Biscuits. To date, hundreds of thousands of animal biscuits have been baked, bought and spread to honor our animal heores and help animals in need.
